Compliance & Safety Engineer Level 1

About the role

Qatar Airways is seeking a Compliance & Safety Engineer Level 1 to join its Group Risk, Safety & Security team in Doha. The role supports the operation and maintenance of compliance and safety systems for both Qatar Airways and customer aircraft, ensuring adherence to Part‑145, Part‑M and CAMO requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct aircraft technical investigations and human‑factor investigations within the CAMO/MRO environment.
• Perform technical occurrence assessments and support Safety Management System activities for MRO/CAMO.
• Apply safety risk‑management tools, conduct risk assessments and manage changes.
• Support health‑and‑safety processes, review mitigation actions and update technical procedures and manuals.
• Prepare compliance and safety notices, safety bulletins and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification (B.Eng., BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Aeronautical Engineering) or a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in aviation safety, compliance, quality assurance or continued airworthiness.
• Proven experience in aircraft technical investigations, human‑factor investigations and safety management within CAMO/MRO.
• Good knowledge of ICAO, EASA and FAA regulations.
