About the role
The Controller I acts as the strategic financial business leader for the property, developing and implementing financial strategies that support brand objectives and maximize return on investment.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze financial data, market trends, and forecast sales versus expenses to create annual budget plans.
- Develop profit improvement initiatives, estimate costs and benefits, and explore new business opportunities.
- Lead accounting teams, assign clear accountability, and ensure strong operational controls to safeguard assets.
- Monitor taxes, ensure compliance with SOPs, and oversee internal, external, and regulatory audit processes.
- Provide financial reports and presentations to owners, GM, and executive committee, and advise on financial issues.
Required profile
- 4‑year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related field, or a master's degree in the same discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in finance and accounting or a related professional area.
