Crew Logistics & Records Officer

About the role

Qatar Airways is hiring a Crew Logistics and Records Officer in Doha. The role covers arranging, coordinating and monitoring crew transportation, hotel bookings, travel arrangements and documentation, keeping crew records up to date in the operation management system and making sure mandatory visa requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate crew logistics with service providers and monitor them to ensure efficient operations
• Arrange and monitor crew visas and vaccinations with the relevant authorities
• Coordinate station entry requirements with service providers
• Arrange crew GD and travel notifications to stakeholders
• Plan and execute crew logistics actions in line with company objectives for cost optimisation and revenue generation
• Update and monitor crew records in the QE/QR operation management system so documents stay valid and up to date
• Arrange crew logistics for training duty with the flight operations support team and escalate expiry issues to the Senior Crewing Officer
• Request monthly attendance sheets and certificates from QR departments and update crew qualifications in the management system
• Follow company policies and procedures and department instructions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of job-related experience
• Understanding of crew logistics requirements and processes
• Knowledge of crew documentation requirements
