Customer Engineer, AI Natives – Junior Talent Programme

About the role

As a Customer Engineer in the AI Natives Junior Talent Programme, you will support the pre‑sales lifecycle for Google Cloud customers across the Middle East and North Africa. You will build rapid prototypes, interactive demos, and provide technical guidance to help customers adopt Google Cloud services, especially AI‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior CEs and sales teams to understand customer environments and technical needs.
• Design, assemble, debug, and spin up real‑time prototypes and demos on Google Cloud.
• Provide architecture advisory, technical validation, and execution support throughout the sales process.
• Liaise with product, marketing, and engineering teams to stay current on industry trends and product enhancements.
• Develop and showcase AI‑focused solutions using Large Language Model APIs, prompt engineering, vector databases, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent communication in English and Arabic.
• Experience programming in modern languages and working with databases, web APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong debugging abilities and familiarity with Docker or Linux command‑line tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively, adapt quickly to changing customer needs, and convey technical concepts clearly.
