Development and Planning Engineer – Qatar Executive

About the role

The Development and Planning Engineer will ensure continuous airworthiness of the fleet, maximizing operational availability while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. This position involves preparing and controlling all required documentation for fleet airworthiness.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate technical documentation from airworthiness authorities, manufacturers, and vendors for impact on fleet safety and reliability.
• Create or amend the Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) to meet regulatory and manufacturer requirements.
• Prepare and update the Fleet Maintenance Plan to optimize aircraft availability and maintenance resources.
• Update maintenance tracking systems with new or amended AMP requirements.
• Review Service Bulletins and other modifications for applicability and cost‑benefit analysis.
• Issue work orders to Part‑145 organizations and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
• Provide technical assistance to contracted maintenance providers and monitor progress of maintenance work orders.
• Prepare and review documentation for Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) or Certificate of Maintenance Requirement (CMR) renewal.
• Analyze aircraft reliability data and generate regular reports on fleet availability and maintenance status.
• Coordinate with flight crews and vendors to resolve technical issues and manage open deferred items.
