Director of Food and Beverage

About the role

A luxury hotel in Doha, Qatar is looking for a Director of Food and Beverage who sits on the Executive Committee and reports to the General Manager. This is a senior commercial and operational leadership role covering the strategic direction, financial performance and guest experience across all F&B outlets. The ideal candidate is a proven Forbes Five-Star F&B leader with hands-on multi-outlet experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across all F&B outlets, setting the direction for service excellence, revenue growth and culinary identity
• Drive revenue, profitability and guest satisfaction across fine dining, casual venues, bars, banquets and in-room dining
• Lead, develop and inspire senior F&B leaders and their teams
• Develop and manage the annual F&B budget, forecasts and P&L to achieve financial targets
• Oversee menu development, promotions and programming with the culinary team
• Ensure consistent compliance with Forbes Five-Star service standards
• Build strong relationships with ownership, guests and key stakeholders
• Partner with Sales, Revenue Management and Marketing to drive commercial performance

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of progressive F&B leadership experience in luxury hospitality, at Director of F&B or EAM F&B level
• Hands-on Forbes Five-Star property experience
• Multi-outlet experience across fine dining, casual venues, bars, banquets and in-room dining
• Experience in the Middle East is an advantage but not required
