Director of Operations – Fine Dining Restaurants

About the role

The Fine Dining Restaurant Group in Qatar is looking for a seasoned Director of Operations to lead day‑to‑day activities across multiple restaurant sites and a central production kitchen. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, profitability, and an outstanding guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations at all restaurant locations and the central kitchen.
• Ensure consistency, service quality, and compliance with company standards.
• Design and implement systems to boost efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
• Monitor performance metrics and execute action plans to meet targets.
• Lead initiatives on food cost, labour cost, inventory control, and waste reduction.
• Guide restaurant managers and operational teams toward performance goals.
• Support new restaurant openings from planning through launch and stabilization.
• Maintain SOPs, operational manuals, and training programmes.
• Analyse guest feedback and drive continuous service improvements.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, marketing, and HR departments.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health standards, and local legislation.
• Participate in strategic planning and expansion projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of restaurant operations experience.
• Proven GCC experience managing multi‑unit fine‑dining concepts.
• Track record of opening and scaling restaurant operations.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field preferred.
