Director Sales

About the role

Talabat, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Director Sales to lead and manage its sales and account management strategy and reporting, and to run the corresponding team. The role covers group-level commission rates, performance metrics such as restaurant acquisitions, and end-to-end sales operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the sales and account management strategy, handle group-level commission rates and track performance metrics including restaurant acquisitions.
• Oversee end-to-end sales operations and drive partner experience and ad revenue scale-up, coordinating with logistics and running top-line campaigns with marketing.
• Maintain high-quality data in Salesforce and keep regular, strategic contact with key partners.
• Develop the strategic business plan, set quarterly and annual sales objectives, and build client acquisition plans and prospecting activities.
• Monitor team performance on restaurant partner acquisition, closed restaurants, promotions, campaigns, account management and market research.
• Acquire key international brand accounts, act as escalation point for VIP and AAA clients, and manage the sales budget and costs.
• Analyze customer statistics daily via CRM and Salesforce, study competitors and interpret sales reports to find new opportunities.
• Lead expansion strategy, validate commission reports, and manage the team so work is allocated and delivered on time and accurately.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Experience leading a team of 15 or more people and accountability for quarterly and annual sales forecasts and targets.
• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and persuasive skills, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
