Dry Cleaner

About the role

The Dry Cleaner ensures guest garments, staff uniforms and hotel linens are cleaned, pressed and returned to the highest hotel‑quality standards. Working in the hotel’s laundry department, you will provide fast, reliable service while maintaining hygiene and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Operate dry‑cleaning, washing, drying and pressing machines.
• Clean, press and finish guest clothing, staff uniforms and hotel linens.
• Inspect items for stains, damage or special handling instructions.
• Apply appropriate stain‑removal treatments using approved chemicals.
• Sort garments by fabric type, colour and required cleaning method.
• Fold, package and deliver cleaned items to guests or internal departments.
• Maintain laundry equipment, report malfunctions and ensure proper storage of chemicals.
• Keep the laundry area clean, organized and compliant with safety and hygiene standards.
• Handle guest requests promptly and keep accurate records of orders.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel laundry or dry‑cleaning is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or laundry experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physically fit to stand for long periods and lift laundry loads.

Required skills

• Operation of dry‑cleaning, washing, drying and pressing equipment.
• Knowledge of fabric care and stain‑removal techniques.
• Proper handling and storage of laundry chemicals.
