EAL Teacher (English National Curriculum)

About the role

United School International, a newly founded British international school on The Pearl in Doha, Qatar, is looking for an EAL teacher to teach English under the English National Curriculum. The role is due to start in January 2027, so candidates must be available from then. The school is run by Orbital Education and offers a tax-free salary and benefits package.

Required profile

• Relevant Bachelor's degree from a reputable university and qualified teacher status, either PGCE or B.Ed from the UK.
• Previous teaching experience in a UK curriculum school teaching English.
• Strong English is essential; applications from native-level speakers of English are preferred.
• Commitment to teaching, ability to lead in the classroom by example, and good collaborative team-working skills.
