About the role
The Electrical Commissioning Engineer will lead the development and execution of commissioning activities for offshore electrical systems. Reporting to the Principal Commissioning Engineer, you will ensure that all pre‑commissioning and commissioning procedures are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Review drawings for suitability, identify issues and coordinate resolutions.
- Define and formalise the electrical commissioning scope, schedules and specifications.
- Develop and issue pre‑commissioning and commissioning procedures and method statements.
- Provide inputs to the Commissioning Management System (CMS) and prepare spares lists.
- Interface with construction teams to align commissioning requirements and forecast resources.
- Manage timely delivery of documentation, materials, personnel and vendors.
- Provide on‑site guidance, ensure compliance with company specifications and safety plans.
- Attend coordination meetings, report daily progress and participate in HAZID and hazard investigations.
- Contribute to the overall EPC schedule and facility hand‑over planning.
Required profile
- Minimum 6 years of experience in offshore electrical engineering.
- Strong background with GIS and switchgear systems.
- Familiarity with offshore codes and standards.
- Commitment to company safety procedures and best practices.
