Contract Manager

About the role

Syntys, a leading data‑center provider in the MENA region, is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of project contracts. You will be responsible for both pre‑contract strategy and post‑contract administration, ensuring commercial and legal objectives are met while minimizing risk.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑contract activities, including strategy, scope definition and risk allocation.
• Support negotiations to secure optimal commercial terms aligned with company goals.
• Administer EPC, subcontract, consultancy and supplier contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure contract compliance with all terms, conditions and legal requirements.
• Manage variations, change orders and contract amendments with proper documentation and approvals.
• Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks across all phases.
• Prepare, evaluate and negotiate claims and disputes (EOT, cost claims, variations).
• Monitor contract performance against KPIs and obligations.
• Provide contractual support to project teams on delays, changes and commercial matters.
• Maintain accurate, audit‑ready contract records and reporting.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of contract management experience in construction, infrastructure or data‑center projects.
• Proven expertise in EPC and FIDIC‑based contracts.
• Demonstrated experience in claims handling and dispute resolution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, Construction Management or a related field.
