Email Security Administrator

About the role

We are looking for two Email Security Administrators to protect and maintain our on‑premises email security infrastructure. You will ensure secure, reliable mail flow across the enterprise while integrating with Microsoft 365 and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily administration and health monitoring of the email security gateway.
• Configure, maintain, and tune anti‑spam, anti‑phishing, malware filtering, and spoofing protection policies.
• Review quarantined messages, validate false positives, and support safe release workflows.
• Troubleshoot end‑to‑end mail flow issues, manage SMTP routing, connectors, and relay configurations.
• Investigate spam, phishing, malware, spoofing, and impersonation attempts; perform log analysis and support incident response.
• Manage and validate SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and TLS configurations for email authentication.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, network, SOC, and messaging teams; handle vendor escalations and root‑cause analysis.
• Generate operational and security reports, support audit requirements, and maintain documentation.
• Execute system upgrades, patches, and change requests while minimizing disruption.

Required profile

• Proven experience administering email security gateways in on‑premises or hybrid environments.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of mail flow architecture, SMTP routing, and Microsoft 365 mail systems.
• Deep understanding of DNS, MX records, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and TLS encryption.
• Experience with phishing, spam, malware analysis and incident handling.
• Familiarity with SOC environments and security escalation workflows.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for mail flow and connectivity issues.
