Emergency Room Specialist

About the role

Al Emadi Hospital is looking for an experienced Emergency Room (ER) Specialist. The ideal candidate has strong clinical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide immediate and effective medical care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and life-threatening conditions.
• Perform emergency procedures and interventions as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Take part in ongoing education and training to stay up to date with emergency medicine advances.
• Follow hospital policies, procedures and quality standards.

Required profile

• Medical degree from a recognised institution.
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine or equivalent.
• Valid medical licence to practice in Qatar.
• At least 3 to 4 years of experience in an emergency room setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English.
