Equipment Processing Team Leader

About the role

Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC), one of the world's largest flight catering facilities, is looking for an experienced Equipment Processing Team Leader in Doha. The role leads and coordinates daily equipment processing operations so that clean, serviceable and airline-compliant equipment is available on time. It covers monitoring manpower, equipment and resources to meet productivity, quality and service targets, while complying with food safety, aviation security, hygiene and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily operations in the assigned Equipment Processing section.
• Allocate manpower and resources across operational areas to meet workload and priorities.
• Develop and communicate shift work plans, priorities and instructions to team members.
• Ensure timely receipt, unloading, washing, sorting, processing, packing, storage and dispatch of airline equipment.
• Coordinate equipment processing for Qatar Airways, other airlines, VIP flights, crew training, charter flights and special operations.
• Monitor equipment stock and ensure replenishment; verify incoming inventory and carry out equipment audits and reconciliations.
• Adjust resources to prevent delays and manage priorities during flight schedule changes, aircraft substitutions, service changes and irregular operations.
• Prepare, verify, pack and dispatch flight sets according to schedules and airline specifications.
• Monitor operational KPIs, take corrective action on performance gaps and follow departmental SOPs.

Required profile

• High school qualification with at least 2 years of job-related experience, or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 1 year of job-related experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in airline catering, equipment processing, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, hospitality operations or a related operational environment.
• Experience preparing operational reports and maintaining workplace documentation.
• Experience managing flight equipment processing activities.
• Experience in HACCP-compliant food production environments.
• Diploma in Logistics or Operations Management and HACCP certification preferred.
