Executive Vice President, International Operations Affairs

About the role

QNB Group, the largest bank in the Middle East and Africa, is recruiting an Executive Vice President for International Operations Affairs in Doha. The incumbent manages and oversees operations across all countries, ensures alignment with the Head Office and shared service centres, and drives the Target Operating Model (TOM) across international branches.

Key responsibilities

• Define the international operational strategy in line with the Group's business strategies and lead the annual budgeting process for International Operations.
• Create and monitor KPIs and KRIs for international branches, and oversee the annual budget and its monitoring.
• Conduct due diligence for acquisitions and mergers, identify integration approaches and benchmark operating models against industry best practice.
• Implement the TOM across countries, set up policies and procedures, and ensure robust automated and manual controls and compliance with international standards and regulations.
• Develop and migrate the best operating model across international branches, and set up SLAs with internal operations departments to improve turnaround times.
• Support internal and external customers by improving processes, resolving branch queries and liaising with the International ITD and external vendors for 24x7 banking services.
• Evaluate new products and services before launch, compile periodic MIS for executive management, and analyse reports on service interruptions and critical issues.
• Oversee recruitment, motivate staff, enforce segregation of duties and ensure adherence to the Group's compliance policy.
