Experienced IT Audit Associate – Deloitte Qatar

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Experienced IT Audit Associate to join its Audit & Assurance practice in Qatar. You will work on a diversified portfolio of clients, primarily in the financial services industry, delivering IT audit procedures that support financial audit objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with financial audit teams to understand business processes and define the scope of IT audit procedures.
• Prepare and communicate IT audit plans, budgets, and timelines to the IT Audit Manager.
• Execute fieldwork, including IT risk assessments, testing of automated and general IT controls, interface controls, and system‑generated reports.
• Identify, evaluate, and document IT risks and their impact on financial reporting.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and client personnel.
• Draft written reports summarising audit results and maintain positive client relationships.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related field.
• Relevant experience in IT audit or assurance, preferably within the financial services sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex IT environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in fast‑paced, multi‑disciplinary teams.
