External Audit Manager – Non-Financial Services (Qatar)

About the role

PwC Middle East is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead external audit engagements for non‑financial services clients in its Qatar office. You will manage the full audit cycle, develop client relationships, and contribute to business development while ensuring high‑quality, compliant audit delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of iconic clients, overseeing day‑to‑day audit execution and client liaison.
• Design audit strategies and lead audit teams in alignment with engagement leader guidance.
• Deliver large‑scale audit projects on time, ensuring compliance with risk, quality and independence standards.
• Advise clients on financial reporting, regulatory developments, and emerging audit standards.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities, building strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare and present audit findings to senior management, boards of directors and audit committees.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing external audit assignments for non‑financial services entities.
• Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to maintain senior‑level relationships.
• Demonstrated business development capability and a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering presentations to boards and audit committees.
• Commitment to upholding audit quality, risk, and independence standards.
