About the role
The F&B Service Expert (Barista) joins the Sheraton team in Doha to create memorable guest experiences through high‑quality food and beverage service. You will be the face of our coffee and beverage offerings, ensuring each interaction reflects Sheraton’s commitment to hospitality excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to Sheraton standards.
- Set up, maintain, and clean service stations, ensuring a tidy and safe work environment.
- Interact with guests, taking orders, answering questions, and delivering prompt, courteous service.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other service areas to ensure smooth operation and timely delivery of orders.
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Less than one year of related experience; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
- No supervisory experience required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lb unassisted (50 lb with assistance).
- Willingness to work flexible hours in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Basic coffee‑making techniques and beverage preparation.
- Familiarity with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
- Strong communication and guest‑service orientation.
