Fire Fighting Engineer – Qatar (QCD Certified)

About the role

The Fire Fighting Engineer will ensure safe and compliant operation of fire protection systems across project sites in Qatar. You will work hands‑on with installation, maintenance and commissioning activities, adhering to Qatar Civil Defence (QCD) regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of fire fighting systems.
• Verify that all systems meet QCD and relevant safety standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams on‑site.
• Conduct inspections, identify technical issues and monitor performance of fire pumps, hydrant systems, sprinklers, hose reels and related equipment.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance records and site documentation.
• Support ongoing projects, attend site meetings and provide technical assistance.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and professionally.

Required profile

• QCD‑approved Fire Fighting Engineer.
• Valid Qatar driving licence.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Qatar.
• Visa transfer required; immediate joining preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fire fighting systems and fire safety standards.
• Ability to read technical drawings and coordinate site activities.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
