Food & Beverage Controller – Hospitality Group (DRC)

About the role

The Food & Beverage Controller will oversee the financial performance of F&B operations within a hospitality environment in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. You will work closely with the F&B management team to analyse data, control costs and drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control food and beverage costs, implement cost‑saving strategies and ensure budget compliance.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports on revenue, expenses and profitability.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory, supplies and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with F&B managers and kitchen teams to optimise menu pricing and portion control.
• Provide financial training and support to F&B staff.
• Identify revenue‑enhancement opportunities and assist in strategy development.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company financial policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an F&B Controller or similar financial role in hospitality or food & beverage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA or similar certification a plus.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to relocate or travel to the DRC.
