Food Server

About the role

The Food Server provides courteous and efficient table service to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience in line with Valence Group standards. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, present menus and take food and beverage orders
• Deliver orders accurately and promptly, and check on guest satisfaction throughout the meal
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the dining area
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for food and beverage delivery
• Handle payments in accordance with company procedures
• Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines, support colleagues during busy periods and maintain a professional appearance

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Relevant hospitality, catering or restaurant service experience preferred
• Basic English; additional languages are an advantage
• Reliability, punctuality and a team-oriented attitude
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays

Required skills

• Food and beverage service skills, including basic menu knowledge and serving standards
• Basic kitchen coordination to communicate guest needs to kitchen staff
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and adherence to health and safety regulations
