Sous Chef – Central Kitchen

About the role

Kitopi, a tech-powered multi-brand restaurant group operating cloud kitchens and dine-in restaurants, is looking for a Sous Chef for its central kitchen. You will manage your section and ensure standards, food consistency, recipes and safety follow company policies, while also supporting purchasing, stock rotation, storage, receiving and labelling.

Key responsibilities

• Manage stock levels, ordering and portion controls
• Oversee daily kitchen operations so that food quality, consistency and presentation meet high standards
• Lead and direct kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks and dishwashers
• Prepare and cook food according to the menu and recipes, meeting standards for taste, texture and presentation
• Maintain consistent food preparation and presentation across all dishes
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including cleanliness, proper food storage and safe cooking practices

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in culinary, food and beverage or a related field
• Strong understanding of one or more cuisines, mainly Italian and Indian; knowledge of Lebanese, Mexican, bakery, oriental and international cuisines, and of both hot and cold sections, is ideal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
