Funding and Capital Structure Director

About the role

The Funding and Capital Structure Director provides strategic leadership for the Group’s capital structure, overseeing debt and equity financing, treasury initiatives, and high‑value funding transactions. The role balances cost‑efficient financing with financial stability across projects, acquisitions, and corporate activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group’s capital structure strategy, ensuring an optimal debt‑equity balance and reducing cost of capital.
• Lead end‑to‑end funding processes, including debt issuances, refinancing, restructuring, and equity raises, and manage all financing documentation.
• Manage the debt portfolio, identifying refinancing, reprofiling and restructuring opportunities to improve funding terms.
• Drive treasury‑related capital projects, coordinating cross‑functional teams to meet timelines and budgets.
• Build advanced financial models, conduct risk assessments, and support capital allocation decisions.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing team, and engage with banks, investors and advisors to secure optimal financing arrangements.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of finance or treasury experience, with at least 15 years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record in debt and equity financing, debt restructuring, and capital optimization.
• Advanced financial modelling and valuation expertise.
• Strong understanding of transaction execution, closing processes and risk management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance (or equivalent).
• Preferred experience in the GCC region.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP or comparable financial systems.
