Grooming and Style Manager

About the role

The Grooming and Style Manager at Qatar Duty Free is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of grooming among Qatar Duty Free employees, by creating, monitoring, delivering and managing grooming and style policies, procedures and engagement. The role supports the representation of the Qatar Airways Group.

Key responsibilities

• Create, update and manage grooming objectives, policies and procedures, and define new and existing grooming standards so that checks can be performed consistently.
• Develop and distribute the grooming guide and policies, and create grooming training solutions with the training department for line managers and staff.
• Lead line managers and staff on grooming and style topics, and act as the focal point for major grooming issues.
• Collaborate on the rollout of a new Qatar Duty Free uniform and inspect uniforms and grooming standards routinely, tracking feedback and recommending solutions to root causes of non-compliance.
• Ensure staff adhere to uniform and grooming standards, improving customer perception, and report grooming activities and compliance stats to line managers.
• Identify areas for improvement and lead improvement projects with management.

Required profile

• High school, vocational, diploma or equivalent qualification, with either 7 years of job-related experience or a bachelor's degree or equivalent with 6 years of experience.
• Experience in the customer service sector; fashion, grooming and beauty experience.
• Fashion, grooming and beauty related certifications.
