Hostess – Guest Service (Food & Beverage)

About the role

The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests in our dining area, ensuring a welcoming and organized experience from arrival to seating. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the Food & Beverage team by managing guest flow and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size, and escort them to appropriate tables.
• Prepare tables by pulling chairs, placing menus, napkins, silverware, and ensuring settings meet brand standards.
• Arrange seating for groups with special needs and monitor dining room capacity.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, practice clean‑as‑you‑go procedures, and keep menus current and presentable.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies; report any incidents.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and assist guests with inquiries.
• Support team goals, build positive relationships, and respond to employee concerns.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods and lifting items up to 10 lb.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to work full‑time in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
