Hotel Carpenter – Maintenance & Repairs

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our hotel maintenance team. You will be responsible for executing high‑quality carpentry work, maintaining wooden fixtures and ensuring that all wood‑based structures meet the highest professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all carpentry and associated work to the highest professional standards.
• Construct, repair, and maintain wooden structures, fixtures, furniture, doors, windows, cabinets, shelves, counters and decorative elements throughout the hotel.
• Use a wide range of carpentry tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Identify, analyze and troubleshoot issues related to wooden structures and develop efficient solutions.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Front Office and other departments, prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of requests.

Required profile

• Previous work experience as a Carpenter in a hotel environment.
• Proficient in woodworking techniques such as cutting, shaping, joining and finishing.
• Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations and industry standards relevant to carpentry.

Required skills

• Operation of saws, drills, routers, sanders, planers and chisels.
• Cutting, shaping, joining and finishing wood.
• Safe handling of carpentry tools and equipment.
