Hotel Manager

About the role

The Hotel Manager leads all property operations, acting as the strategic business leader and stepping in as General Manager when required. Based in Doha, the role oversees front office, retail, fitness, housekeeping, security, engineering, food & beverage, and event management to deliver the brand’s service standards. The manager works closely with the Executive Committee and department heads to ensure brand initiatives are implemented and that the property meets financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an operational strategy aligned with the brand’s business goals.
• Manage profitability and departmental budgets, reviewing financial reports and capital‑expenditure plans.
• Oversee all operational areas including front office, retail, recreation, housekeeping, security, engineering, F&B, and events.
• Coach and support department heads to optimise occupancy, rates, wages, and controllable expenses.
• Identify operational challenges, implement solutions, and ensure continuous improvement.
• Maintain guest satisfaction while protecting profit margins.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security and loss‑prevention standards.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management or a related field with 8 years of relevant experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience.
• Proven experience in managing hotel operations, sales and marketing.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning and revenue‑growth capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to enhance employee satisfaction and guest experience.
