Human Resource Intern

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented HR Intern to join its Human Resources team in Doha. The role offers hands-on experience across several HR functions, including recruitment, candidate screening, employee onboarding, record management and culture initiatives. It suits a student or recent graduate who wants to start a career in HR, learn industry best practices and work in a dynamic team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with sourcing and screening candidates for open positions
• Support job posting activities across recruitment platforms and social media
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams
• Maintain and update candidate records in the recruitment database/ATS
• Assist with CV shortlisting and candidate follow-ups
• Support onboarding and mobilization documentation
• Maintain employee and candidate files accurately
• Assist in preparing HR reports, trackers and recruitment updates
• Coordinate with internal HR team members on recruitment requirements
• Support employee engagement and other HR initiatives when required
• Handle HR-related documentation confidentially and perform general HR administrative duties
