Human Resources Generalist – Arabic Speaker (Qatar)

About the role

The successful candidate will join a government‑backed developer responsible for building and managing economic zones in Qatar. This role leads the day‑to‑day operations of the HR department, ensuring smooth employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management.

Key responsibilities

• Employee Relations: Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries, resolve workplace conflicts, and support disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Benefits & Compensation: Administer health insurance, retirement plans, assist with payroll processing, and manage leave requests.
• Compliance: Ensure company policies align with local, state, and federal labor laws, maintain compliance logs, and update the employee handbook.
• Performance & Talent Management: Support managers with annual reviews, track employee goals, and identify training or development needs.
• HRIS Management: Maintain accurate, confidential employee records using HR Information Systems (HRIS) and prepare HR metrics reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an HR Generalist.
• Experience within developers or contractors in Qatar is desirable.
• Fluent in Arabic.
• Must be based in Qatar.
