HVAC Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Ibis and Adagio Aparthotels Doha. Working under the guidance of the Duty Engineer or Chief Engineer, you will ensure that all guest rooms and hotel facilities have reliable heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment, including cleaning ducts, filters, checking for leaks and refilling refrigerant.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions, replace defective parts, and carry out emergency repairs as needed.
• Execute mechanical and electrical work to the highest professional standards throughout the hotel.
• Maintain accurate records, manage workshop stock, and order supplies when required.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures and adhere to grooming and safety standards.

Required profile

• Secondary school plus technical college education or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in air‑conditioning or refrigeration installation and maintenance.
• Experience in industrial/commercial projects; hospitality experience is a plus.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
