HVAC Technician

About the role

Join Accor’s Ibis and Adagio Aparthotels in Doha as an HVAC Technician, delivering reliable climate‑control services to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency. Working under the Duty Engineer or Chief Engineer, you will apply your technical expertise to maintain and repair hotel HVAC systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning ducts and filters, checking for leaks and refilling refrigerant.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions, replace defective parts, and execute emergency repairs as needed.
• Execute mechanical, electrical, and related work to the highest professional standards across the hotel.
• Attend scheduled training sessions and adhere to grooming and safety standards.
• Maintain familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and operational manuals.
• Manage workshop stock, order supplies, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in air‑conditioning or refrigeration installation or maintenance.
• Experience in industrial/commercial projects; hospitality experience preferred.
• Secondary school plus technical college education or equivalent.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
