Income Auditor

About the role

The Income Auditor ensures the accuracy and completeness of daily and night audits across all revenue centres of a 5‑star hotel. Working within a fast‑paced hospitality environment, you will support the finance team by preparing critical sales reports and maintaining rigorous revenue controls.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily and night audits, verifying all transactions and ensuring completeness.
• Distribute audit work to appropriate accounting staff and spread miscellaneous waiting accounts.
• Prepare daily sales reports and weekly sales reports for the Financial Controller.
• Maintain filing systems for registration cards, credit cards, restaurant charges, promotional tickets, coupons, and cash folios.
• Control restaurant guest checks, issue outlet guest cheques and banquet tickets, and track inventory of guest checks.
• Prepare period‑end closing reports, complete journals, and reconcile garage and miscellaneous revenues.
• Generate forecast accuracy reports for rooms, guests, and F&B outlets.
• Assist the Cost Controller with month‑end storeroom physical inventory.
• Produce ad‑hoc reports to support management decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of income or revenue auditing experience in a 5‑star hotel or comparable luxury hospitality environment.
• Familiarity with financial procedures, revenue controls, and multi‑outlet hotel operations.
• Ability to work accurately in a high‑volume, fast‑paced setting while maintaining international hospitality standards.
