About the role
The Industrial Electrician will join the maintenance team at Qatar Steel, ensuring reliable operation of all industrial electrical systems and equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, including motors, generators, transformers, control panels, MCCs and distribution networks.
- Diagnose faults using testing instruments, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and keep accurate maintenance records.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics; carry out cable laying, termination, glanding and connections.
- Assist with installation and upkeep of VFDs, contactors, relays, sensors and control circuits while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow safety procedures.
