Industrial Software & Digital Solutions Sales Specialist (Doha)

About the role

Siemens Digital Industries is seeking a Sales Specialist to drive industrial software and digital solutions sales in Qatar. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating customer challenges into actionable digital opportunities and supporting the growth of our software portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for industrial software across key customers and industries in Qatar.
• Support the sales team in shaping, pitching, and closing software‑driven solutions that address operational challenges.
• Engage with customers at technical, operational, and management levels to understand needs and propose digital solutions.
• Lead value‑based sales engagements focused on productivity, quality, energy efficiency, sustainability and operational excellence.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline, ensure accurate forecasting and timely deal closure.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated automation, software and services solutions.
• Increase software adoption, expand existing relationships and drive broader transformation programs.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling industrial software solutions such as SCADA/HMI, manufacturing operations management or asset analytics.
• Strong consultative, value‑based selling capability for digital transformation projects.
• Solid understanding of industrial software environments, including engineering, operations, simulation and performance optimisation tools.
• Exposure to solutions like COMOS, gPROMS, SIMIT or Senseye.
• Track record of growing software business revenue.
