Instrumentation Engineer – Offshore Qatar

About the role

Saipem is seeking an Instrumentation Engineer to join the QMS Gladiator COMP 2 project offshore Qatar. You will be responsible for the design, validation, and engineering of process measuring sensors, actuators, and safety elements, supporting the energy transition and delivering complex offshore projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, check, and layout instrumentation drawings and material specifications.
• Prepare technical documentation, BOQs, MTOs, and data sheets for instrumentation items.
• Review client technical requirements and coordinate subcontracted engineering activities.
• Validate vendor calculations for control valves, safety valves, and measurement elements.
• Support construction and commissioning phases with on‑site engineering and FAT activities.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE standards throughout the project.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, or related).
• Proficiency in English; additional languages as required by the project.
• Experience in offshore or onshore energy projects is preferred.
