IT Support Specialist

About the role

The IT Support Specialist will work under the guidance of the Information Technology Manager to ensure smooth operation of all hotel technology systems at Mondrian Doha. You will provide day‑to‑day technical assistance to staff, maintain network and hardware components, and deliver user training on key applications.

Key responsibilities

• Answer e‑mails and faxes related to IT issues in the manager’s absence.
• Assist the IT Manager with user training on Fidelio, Micros, internet and other office automation software.
• Monitor and troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and telephone systems.
• Support and resolve problems in Fidelio, Micros, Sopho and other hotel applications.
• Maintain backup tapes, schedule preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with security and contingency procedures.
• Modify simple reports, user rights and internal forms as directed.
• Log, track and close support tickets; be available on‑call 24 hours when required.
• Coordinate with department heads to guarantee uninterrupted technology services.

Required profile

• Experience supporting hotel management systems such as Fidelio, Micros and Sopho.
• Good understanding of networking and LAN hardware components.
• Ability to conduct user training and produce clear documentation.
• Willingness to be on‑call for emergency support.
