Laundry Team Leader

About the role

The Laundry Team Leader supervises and trains laundry staff, ensuring all laundry and dry‑cleaning services meet Rosewood Doha’s high standards of quality and brand consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, train and inspect the performance of Laundry Attendants, Washers, Pressers and Uniform Attendants.
• Collect, verify and process guest laundry and dry‑cleaning items accurately, adhering to specific guest instructions.
• Operate and maintain dry‑cleaning machines, refill chemicals, clean filters and report any equipment defects.
• Ensure fire and safety procedures are followed and maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Report shortages, damaged garments, maintenance needs and safety hazards to the Laundry Manager.

Required profile

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, and perform well under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail for checking garments, recording guest information and maintaining records.
• Friendly, courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.

Required skills

• Operation of laundry and dry‑cleaning machinery.
• Handling of chemicals and adherence to safety measures.
• Knowledge of fire and safety procedures.
