Lead Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to drive enterprise‑wide QA, testing governance, test automation and quality engineering initiatives across large‑scale digital transformation programs. The role will shape QA standards, oversee testing across multiple projects and lead high‑performing QA teams, primarily within Banking, Financial Services, FinTech or Digital Banking environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise‑wide QA strategies, policies, standards and best practices.
• Establish and maintain testing governance frameworks, monitor progress, metrics, risks and release readiness.
• Oversee functional, integration, system, regression, UAT, API, performance and mobile testing to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Develop and execute test automation roadmaps, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and promote continuous testing.
• Manage defect and risk processes, track trends, conduct root‑cause analysis and ensure critical issues are resolved before production.
• Lead, mentor and grow QA Managers, Test Leads, Automation Engineers and Test Analysts across multiple locations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to align testing activities with business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading QA/Test teams in Banking, Financial Services, FinTech or Digital Banking environments.
• Strong background in testing governance, test automation and continuous integration.
• Demonstrated ability to define enterprise QA standards and drive adoption across technology platforms.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
