Learning Manager

About the role

The Learning Manager will design, deliver and evaluate learning initiatives that support business objectives, strengthen colleague capabilities and develop future leaders for InterContinental Doha Beach & Spa. Working closely with the leadership team and department heads, you will translate development priorities into impactful learning solutions aligned with IHG standards and brand values.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the property Learning & Development strategy in line with business priorities and luxury service ambition.
• Conduct a structured Learning Needs Analysis and create an annual learning plan and calendar.
• Own implementation, adoption and effectiveness of IHG University across the property.
• Ensure mandatory, brand and role‑based learning pathways are deployed, tracked and completed.
• Facilitate leadership development journeys for supervisors, managers and senior leaders using approved IHG content.
• Support PDPs and succession planning by identifying development priorities for high‑potential talent.
• Lead a strong departmental trainer framework and coach trainers to reinforce learning within departments.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, delivering and evaluating learning initiatives in a hospitality environment.
• Ability to collaborate with senior leaders and translate business needs into learning solutions.
• Strong understanding of IHG learning standards, brand values and People & Culture strategy.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
