Loss Prevention Officer (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

We are looking for a Loss Prevention Officer who is fluent in Arabic to join the security team at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara. The role focuses on safeguarding hotel property, assets and guests by preventing theft, sabotage and other security incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Guard and protect all hotel property, parking areas, documentation, equipment and buildings from unauthorized access, theft or sabotage.
• Develop, maintain and document a training plan for security staff, including job task analysis and certification records.
• Respond to corporate security requests, assist employees, visitors and emergency responders, and ensure compliance with loss‑prevention policies.
• Collaborate with the loss‑prevention department and law‑enforcement agencies, preserve crime scenes and protect potential evidence.
• Investigate losses, thefts, employee misconduct and other security incidents, write incident reports and report to the security supervisor.
• Support large events and festivals organized by the property.
• Monitor and respond to alarm conditions, intrusion detection systems and fire protection systems in accordance with hotel policies.

Required profile

• Fluent Arabic speaker.
• Strong judgment, common sense and ability to act calmly in security and safety situations.
• Willingness to follow corporate loss‑prevention policies and procedures.
• Ability to work with law‑enforcement agencies and document investigations.
