LOTO / PTW Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced LOTO / PTW Coordinator to oversee lockout/tagout and energy isolation activities for a major industrial project in Qatar. The role ensures hazardous energy sources are safely isolated before work begins, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) activities at the project site.
• Verify that all isolation points are correctly identified, locked, tagged, and documented before work begins.
• Conduct LOTO briefings, toolbox talks and maintain accurate LOTO registers and isolation certificates.
• Ensure compliance with project LOTO procedures, Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) requirements and Qatar safety regulations.
• Monitor field activities, stop unsafe work and support HSE inspections, audits and incident investigations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant LOTO / energy isolation experience on industrial or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar HSE requirements and international electrical safety standards.
• Experience with commissioning, energization and de‑energization activities.
