Maintenance Inspector (OCONUS)

About the role

SOSi is seeking a Maintenance Inspector to support the contractor’s labor force in meeting O&M requirements. The role ensures equipment, machinery, and systems operate efficiently and safely while complying with standard operating procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections of plant equipment and conduct code‑compliance inspections.
• Review maintenance records, verify drawing mark‑ups, and collect equipment data.
• Analyze and develop maintenance procedures, reconcile engineering drawings, and document inspection requirements.
• Conduct non‑destructive testing, maintain daily visual emission records, and manage quality‑control methods.
• Recommend remedial work, prepare technical reports, and assist with safe, compliant operations.

Required profile

• High school diploma with 6 years of experience in commercial and residential construction.
• Current or former journeyman (or higher) trades worker.
• Familiarity with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), International Building Code (IBC), National Electrical Code (NEC), ASHRAE standards, OSHA regulations, and NFPA codes.
