Manager Compensation & Benefits

About the role

The Manager Compensation & Benefits leads the design, implementation and continuous improvement of compensation and benefits programmes for Qatar Airways Group and its outstations. The role ensures that remuneration packages remain competitive, compliant and aligned with the airline’s business strategy while fostering data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage delivery of C&B programmes across Qatar and outstations, including pay reviews and ongoing process enhancements.
• Provide C&B advice to HR partners and line managers, developing analytics and dashboards to support decisions.
• Oversee external benchmarking, collect market data and work with consulting firms to compare QR Group’s total remuneration against market comparators.
• Drive C&B projects that enable business strategies, including support for works council and union negotiations in international markets.
• Monitor effectiveness of existing C&B processes, recommend adjustments and ensure related HR policies are clear and accurate.
• Participate in industry groups such as APDC to stay updated on trends and legislative changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, preferably in a multinational corporation.
• Strong experience in market benchmarking and data analysis.
• Professional accreditation in C&B is highly desirable.
• Experience in a consulting environment is an asset.
