Marina Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Marina Attendant to join the team at the iconic Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha. In this role you will ensure the smooth operation of the marina facilities, providing accurate information and maintaining a safe, clean environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to marina phone messages and emails promptly.
• Maintain daily and reporting log books and keep weather reports up‑to‑date for guests.
• Ensure all marina gates (dry berth, parking, slipway) remain locked at all times.
• Properly coil and store hoses after each use.
• Collect and dispose of garbage from all piers to keep the area tidy.
• Report any incidents, maintenance issues, rope or fender damage to the supervisor and obtain sign‑off from the next shift.
• Inspect trailers and jet boats, verify details, and stop them when required.
• Keep staff cabins, store rooms, toilets and changing rooms clean before the end of the shift.
• Conduct hourly walk‑throughs of the piers to confirm boats are positioned safely.
• Follow the dock maintenance SOP after completing all tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
