Maximo/EAMS Technician – Asset Management Specialist

About the role

Egis is seeking a detail‑oriented Maximo/EAMS Technician to join its Doha team. You will manage and optimise the Enterprise Asset Management System to support efficient maintenance operations and improve asset reliability across our projects.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IBM Maximo or a comparable EAMS platform.
• Develop and implement asset management strategies to boost operational efficiency.
• Create and manage work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and asset records.
• Generate reports and analyse data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
• Provide technical support and training to end‑users on EAMS functionality.
• Implement system upgrades and enhancements as required.
• Ensure data integrity and maintain database performance.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures for EAMS processes.
• Assist in integrating EAMS with other business systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience working with IBM Maximo or a similar Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Strong understanding of asset management principles and maintenance practices.
• Experience in industrial or facilities maintenance environments.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
