Network Infrastructure Manager

About the role

A leading technology solutions and services provider in Doha, Qatar, is looking for an experienced Network Infrastructure Manager through Black & Grey HR. The manager leads the design, delivery and continuous evolution of large-scale, secure and highly available networks supporting critical ICT operations, requiring strong strategic leadership and deep technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise network architecture strategies aligned with business goals
• Design high-level network frameworks, standards and governance models
• Lead large-scale network projects across multi-site and distributed environments, keeping them on scope, timeline, budget and quality
• Manage SLAs, vendor contracts and service providers
• Drive continuous improvement and evaluate emerging technologies such as cloud, SD-WAN and virtualization
• Lead disaster recovery planning and testing, and oversee risk management and capacity planning
• Lead, mentor and develop multi-disciplinary technical teams and communicate with senior stakeholders

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in enterprise network infrastructure
• Proven leadership in complex, mission-critical environments
• Vendor management, procurement, RFPs and SLA negotiation experience
• CCIE (SP, R&S, Wireless or Data Center) highly preferred; PMP or equivalent preferred

• MPLS (L2/L3 VPN, VPLS, MPLS-TE, FRR)
• Network virtualization and SDN (ACI, NSX, SD-WAN, SD-Access)
• VPN (IPSec, DMVPN, GRE, GETVPN) and enterprise wireless (802.11)
• Network monitoring, performance optimization, capacity planning, disaster recovery and network security
