Offshore Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Offshore Logistics Coordinator ensures seamless marine and aviation logistics for offshore platforms, supporting safe and efficient drilling operations. This role manages the movement of materials, equipment, chemicals, fuel, and personnel between onshore facilities and offshore sites.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate loading and unloading of supply vessels and helicopters, preparing manifests, dangerous goods declarations, and cost reports.
• Work with the Supply department to define scopes of work for marine, aviation, and chemical contracts.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for aviation and marine operations, ensuring alignment with operational requirements.
• Liaise with Doha Heliport and Ras Laffan Port to manage vessel arrivals, departures, clearances, and personnel movements.
• Prepare load lists, supervise cargo loading, verify weights, and maintain cargo movement statistics for audit purposes.
• Ensure contractor compliance with vessel and helicopter contracts and address any non‑compliance.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and load checks before each operation.
• Schedule daily marine and air operations, monitor weather forecasts, and compile data on fuel, water, consumables, and crewing for audits.

Required profile

• Higher National Diploma (HND) in Operations, Maintenance, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in offshore logistics (marine, helicopter, or chemical).
• Proven experience handling materials, hazardous chemicals, and equipment for offshore oil & gas projects.
• Ability to work in a multinational environment with exposure to diverse cultures.
