Oracle Functional Consultant – Finance

About the role

We are looking for a senior Oracle Financial Functional Consultant to lead the implementation, enhancement and optimisation of Oracle ERP Finance solutions. The role works closely with business stakeholders to translate finance processes into effective ERP configurations, supporting end‑to‑end finance cycles across Record‑to‑Report, Procure‑to‑Pay and Order‑to‑Cash. Arabic language proficiency is mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document finance and accounting business requirements.
• Configure and support Oracle Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, SLA).
• Lead full‑life‑cycle Oracle ERP Financial implementations, upgrades and post‑go‑live support.
• Design and validate Chart of Accounts, enterprise structure and multi‑org setups.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close, financial controls, reconciliations and reporting.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.
• Coordinate system testing, UAT and deployment activities.
• Manage data migration using FBDI, CSV and flat‑file tools.
• Collaborate with technical consultants on integrations, custom reports and workflows.
• Provide production support, issue resolution and root‑cause analysis.
• Conduct user training and produce functional documentation.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of hands‑on Oracle Financials consulting experience.
• Strong experience with Oracle Fusion ERP Financials; Oracle EBS R12 experience is a plus.
• Proven track record of at least three full‑life‑cycle Oracle ERP Financial implementations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field.
• Deep knowledge of finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C) and accounting standards.
• Fluent Arabic for business communication.
