Permit Coordinator – Planning & Procurement Controller

About the role

The Permit Coordinator will lead permit acquisition and control activities for major capital construction projects, ensuring seamless integration of planning and procurement functions across large‑scale infrastructure and building developments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and secure all necessary permits for projects valued at QR 100 million plus.
• Manage project planning and procurement processes, aligning schedules, budgets and resources.
• Maintain and update computerized schedules and budgets using Primavera P6 and integrated project‑controls software.
• Produce dynamic reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and local regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) from a recognized university.
• Minimum 15 years of post‑qualification experience in major capital construction projects.
• At least 10 years as a Planning & Procurement Controller on diverse infrastructure/building projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Arabian Gulf region on projects exceeding QR 100 million.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Advanced use of integrated project‑controls software for schedule, budget and reporting functions.
